It comes with regret that we have decided to close down the Andromeda gaming community, it was initially started to bring mature pc gamers together however requires a high amount of invested time to keep the community active, something we just don’t have any more due to real life commitments.
We thank everyone for taking part over the last 6 months and hope you have enjoyed your time with us hopefully making a few new friends in this duration.
After quite a painful launch and issues with our service provider we finally have a reliable service.
Tango has been working hard on the integration and now your able to connect via the website direct, none of that trawling through server lists anymore.
Server patches are automatically broadcast in discord 10 minutes before the server restarts and auto patches, this will of course be further developed to broadcast in game once RCON is available for Conan.
We are keeping the game with the base settings to promote longevity as we have no plans to wipe, wiping will only be considered if something game changing is added.
It’s been little over 5 days since Conan launched on early access, and players are faced with a handful of issues around connectivity - this set aside Conan has massive potentially and likley to end up the No.1 Survival game. Lets take a look at the pro's and cons.
Pro’s
It’s Conan and most of us love Conan.
Runs smooth, much better frame rate than Ark.
Graphics are rather nice.
Terrain and map is well put together.
Plenty to keep you hooked, Game play at this early stage is very involving.
Building mechanics are fantastic, easy to use.
Nudity – for those of you who are a fan of the nature.
Plenty of gore, heads and limbs can be sliced off, well. If you like that thing.
Con’s
No Rcon, as yet, so difficult to monitor the server and not possible to broadcast in game.
No whitelist, which is why we had to go the password route.
Netcode needs some TLC, can get choppy.
Horrific connectivity issues.
Animations need some work.
30 Bucks, which is expensive for an Early access.
Very limited admin panel.
Dataloss and item ambiguity.
Leaky client.
FAQ
(Q) Can you increase the gathering.
(A) Yes it’s possible, however we have reviewed this and the game needs to have some longevity, the gathering is quite balanced atm.
(Q) Is it worth 30 bucks?
(A) If you have fully absorbed Ark and don’t mind roll backs , issues with connectivity , general bugs then yes it may be worth your hard earned, if you want a completely polished game then stay away.
(Q) Can you increase the XP
(A) We may move it up a notch to 1.5 however at present it’s not too bad considering we have no plans yet to wipe.
(Q) Why is there no Battle eye on the server.
(A) Battle eye was receiving too much traffic resulting in severe lag spikes, we have decided to remove this for the time being until we have confidence everything has been fixed.
(Q) I’m able to kill other players but can’t attack buildings.
(A) There will be a 10 day count down starting on Tuesday where buildings can be damaged, The cool off period is to allow players to become familiar with buildings and defences. Bear in mind if you do decide to attack another players building this is likely to be thrown-ed upon if there was no real cause and you may find yourself at mercy to a number of guilds who disprove.
(Q) Are the Funcom devs responsive?
(A) They are!, obviously having their work carved out atm, however knocking out patches daily and fixing issues.
(Q) What are Andromeda doing currently to ensure server up-time.
(A) Second Class, Singuru, Tango , Edguy have access to restart the server hence we are trying to keep an moderating as active as possible. Tango is subsequently developing a server monitor which we will hopefully have in place towards the end of the week, It’s a difficult challenge due to the fact there is no Rcon, and when the server hangs it shows in a ready state with players connected.
Currently we do have discord integration, however we anticipate that we will have good automation in place very soon to manage servers patches and hangs.
(Q) I’m Having issues connecting, are you able to help.
From steam go to view > servers > [Favourites], add in the following servers

(Q) When I connect it takes me back to the red menu screen.
This can happen, and sometimes you may get weird graphics showing, you just need to wait and not touch anything, give it 5 mins max though.
If you own a Nvidia card it's certainly recommended that you update your Nvidia drivers today to 378.49
Latest patch notes for Conan.
We have had to remove battle eye from the Conan server as the battle eye servers are being hammered, this was causing disconnects and preventing some players getting into the game.
If anyone still has issues connecting please un-install battleeye.
At some point when the magic pixies have fixed their battle eye load balancing issues we will ofc bring battle eye back in.
We are using a password to join the server so is closed off to the community.

Most of you should be aware that Conan is now released and that Andromeda have secured a 70 slot server.
Our server is up and running the IP : 62.4.22.123:27115
To connect simply launch conan, select online, select pvp, select all servers.
Then click on the server tab at the top to sort by alpha, Search for Andromeda PVP in the list and hit favourite then connect.
Base settings : RP PVP
PVP is enabled however we have turned off PVP structure damage off for the time being.

There is no white-list yet implemented, we opened up the server and were flooded with connections, therefore have had to add in a password.
Just ping Edguy for the password or join the discord channel and ask in there.
Failing that join the old teamspeak server and you will see the password in one of the channel names.
For those of you who are not joining Conan just yet, you should be pleased to know wildcard has now released a mammoth patch.

A little under 10 days to go, Conan has been confirmed as a 30$ price tag, more than likely the euro and pound will follow the same measure.

Today Andromeda secured a 70 slot Conan Exile server, Registration is available on the left, however if you have already played on any of the existing Andromeda server you don't need to register as your steam ID will be white listed. The server IP address is 62.4.22.123:27115, In terms of game play it will be RP-PVP ; more details on the rule set will be made available on the 24th of Jan. Rest assure we will continue investment in Ark in addition to Conan.
We expect Conan Exile to be available on steam from the 20th of January for pre-order and speculate the price being around the 30 Euro mark.
Launch of Conan Exile will be Tuesday 31st of January.
